The Band Toto Asia
Toto was expanding its production facilities overseas, and doing business in France and Germany, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. North America was seen as an area of growth for Washlet toilets and bidet seats, in contrast to its "base" markets in Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto recorded Toto words so that the next generation could be able to read the words. Many words were substituted with foreign ones. For instance dui, which is Bengali for verandah was being used.
토토사이트 순위 was founded in 1917 and its beginnings mirrored Japan's development. In the first half, Toto made goods to meet the demand for modern, contemporary urban housing. It was the first tunnel kiln in the nation that could produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered automation for production control, allowing greater efficiency and a more consistent production.
The company began expanding internationally in the late 1980s to take advantage of new markets and sales opportunities. The company created the Cera Trading Company to import and market other manufacturers' products in order to expand its line of sanitary earthenwares as well as plumbing fittings. This strategy helped to increase sales and expand the market share of the company globally.
In the 90s, Toto began focusing on research and development of water-related appliances. It also upgraded its system of distribution to better serve its customers and boost profits. The company implemented a just-in-time method of managing supply chains and applied the same method in its sales program. This resulted in a greater level of customer satisfaction.
Toto continued to innovate toilet technology. The latest toilet, for instance it has a powerful tornado flush that is more ecologically green than traditional toilets. The company also uses recycled water in its production process and has a green purchasing policy. Apart from toilets, Toto manufactures faucets and bathtubs, as well as hand dryers that are more efficient in energy use than conventional models.
The company's first museum opened in the year 2015, and it has exhibitions about Toto's iconic products and their development as well as its group companies (all that deal with ceramics), historical background of plumbing and products like bath units and, in a separate gallery, Toto products sold around the world. The museum also has the bathroom equipped with a WASHLET as well as other toilet innovations.
Before forming Toto members of the group did session work for various musicians. Keyboardist David Paich, drummer Jeff Porcaro, and guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather all played on the album Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. They also performed on albums by Steely Don, Seals and Crofts and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
With a name as evocative as Asia you'd expect the group to be prog kings and queens but they're actually a fairly straightforward rock band. The group began as a quartet, and they recorded two albums - 1979's self-titled debut album, and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. However, even though the group have a diverse musical background their biggest hit came in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a massive blockbuster, but it was not without its problems. The record companies placed Toto under pressure to deliver the top single or they would drop them. Toto was able to do this through the aid of the smash hit "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is due to their prior experience, as the band members were session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts before starting the group. Their distinctive sound has since become the standard for '80s pop, and has influenced many modern artists.
The album begins with a hefty dose of hard rock with tracks like Running Out of Time and Unknown Soldier showcasing the bands ability to write fantastic AOR songs that slowly get their hooks into your mind. The album also features slow, jazzier tracks like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations, a song that mixes folk with distortion AOR and could sound like a complete flop, but is incredibly effective.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes turned for the worse. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career and the band had to go through numerous drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the band after drug charges. The band continued to play with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.
Despite the turbulence, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation, which was not as successful as IV. However, the band was able to release a chart-topping album in 1992, Kingdom of Desire. This album marked Toto's final lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new vocalist.

Line-up
Turn Back, the band's third studio album, was an ode to the classic sextet format and a more consistent, stronger effort with a harder edge. The edgier sound of Turn Back reflected the maturation in the group. The drummer Bobby Kimball's increasing virtuosity was reflected by the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had grown more confident and mature. David Paich's keyboard skills were as well more refined, more precise and less akin to earlier efforts.
After touring to promote the album, the group recorded a live show in Amsterdam which was released as a two-CD set entitled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. The group released a new studio album just a few months after, and went on a world tour to support the album. During this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started searching through old demos and tapes in search of an album that would feature songs that were never recorded before. The album was released in 2001 and released as a double album titled Then and Now. It was the band's first album without a single song titled "A". The album also contained a previously unreleased track called "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth record, Old Is New was an uncommercial success and vocalist Williams was suffering from laryngitis, which affected his singing abilities. Additionally, Hungate returned to Nashville and drummer Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.
Downes and the other original members of Asia - Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened an event in England in the beginning of 2006 to discuss the possibility of formally reforming the group. The lineup, with the exception of Howe who was busy with Yes at the time, was renamed Toto XIV. They toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band featured an appearance by singer Michael McDonald and a backing vocalist named Mabvuto Carver.
