Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next success is being rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto the new gear.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can place an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once players have enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of the item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available for it. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them extra effects or an increased level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.
Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally item upgrader upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get a perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an open window that displays the necessary requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory once you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
