Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade
The stats of an item can be improved by upgrading it, also referred to as "upping". Each upgrade increment boosts the stats linearly.
Players can recycle six items at once to get a gauge of the upgraded component of each item. The cost of recycling items increases with their rarity and item level.
item upgrader
In Guild Wars 2, an upgrade of an item can be a method to increase the stats on your weapon and armor. This can be accomplished by various methods that include the use of upgrade components and also upgrading an item's mark levels or rarity. Additionally to this, many items can be reforged, which could increase their stats.
There are items that can be upgraded throughout the game. They are available in all over the world and are rewards for missions. They can also be made by players. The main way to upgrade equipment is through the use of upgrade components which are components that can be slotted into equipment. Most equipment has slots that can be upgraded and some require a certain amount of upgrade. Certain upgrade components provide specific bonuses while others give a general bonus.
There are many types of upgrade components available in the game. These include universal upgrades, inscriptions and jewels. Universal upgrades, like gemstones and enchantments, can be used in any type of equipment and provide smaller bonuses than those that are equipment type specific to the type of equipment. Glyphs can only be placed in gathering tools and offer a variety of bonuses, ranging from increasing the speed at which an item gathers to supplying additional crafting materials.
To upgrade an item, simply select it from your inventory and open the Upgrade window. This will display an overview on the right side of the screen, showing the expected stats after the upgrade, along with any required components or materials. The Upgrade button at the bottom will be labeled as Blocked if you do not have enough of either.
The upper-right corner shows the amount of upgrade components needed for the specific item. The cost of upgrading increases depending on the level of the upgrade and its rarity, but can be reduced using many different methods, such as buying upgrades from a vendor or trading them with other players.
Many weapons can be improved by adding a prefix, such as a rune or an insignia. Some can be improved with a suffix. These upgrades change the name of the item to add an adjective, such as 'Radiant' or 'Minor Vigor.' The exceptions are the non-inscribable wands, the shields and foci from the Prophecies and Factions campaigns, that cannot be upgraded using any kinds of mods at all.
Glyphs
Glyphs are an effective tool to communicate visual information. They are animated to grab the attention of the viewers and trigger interest in the brain. The animation of glyphs mimics the body language and makes them more effective in transmitting the message of a language barrier. Glyphs can also enhance the likelihood of remembering the message by triggering an emotional connection in the brain.
Each glyph has a range of values that it could enhance a stat in the form of an item when you open the glyph in the Glyph Storage or when you use them to enchant an artifact. This range is not the exact amount at which the glyph will increase a stat, but the maximum amount by which it can do so. The value of the glyph is contingent on the tier as well as the quality of the product you are enchanting.
The majority of upgrade components that are added to items cannot be removed or replaced without removing them except for legendary equipment and upgrades. If you have a glyph or rune you don't want to use but it's not been applied to gear yet, you can move the item to another piece by selecting the Upgrade Glyphs menu within the Glyphs Panel. This will create an entirely new Glyph Set with the selected glyph.
You can take out the glyph using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or an Ascended Salvage tool. The item on which the glyph is located will be destroyed, but the upgraded item can be retrieved using the glyph shards.
When upgrade item remove an item after adding a glyph the shards that are part of the glyph will vanish. You can also apply the glyph to your equipment to add a bonus. For instance, the glyph Deferred Damage can store damage for the wearer and distribute it slowly instead of all at one time. This is useful for players who suffer a lot damage from enemies, but don't want to be overwhelmed.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are used to alter the affixes that are placed on weapons and equipment. They can be obtained from many sources, including mystery boxes, rare drops from skulled monsters, or by killing bosses. Each reroll provides the player with an unspecified affix, which is usually better than what they had before. Reroll tokens are also a great way to reroll weapon stats and can be upgraded for better damage or other perks.
Items that have been rerolled will not appear in the upgrade menu, however, they can still receive upgrades. These rerolled items can be recycled by pressing the "upgrade" button, which changes the appearance of the window and allows up to six items to be chosen to recycle. Recycling an item can add a small amount of points to its gauge of level. This amount is determined based on the item's rarity and also its level. Thus, items with higher levels are more valuable to recycle than lower-leveled ones.
Players can also use Reroll Tokens and Star Remnants to reroll weapons to upgrade units. A reroll will roll the percentage chance of a weapon trait. If it is higher, the weapon will be upgraded. If it is lower, the weapon remains unchanged. Weapons can be repeated up to three times.
Rerolls are a good option for upgrading an item, however, players should be aware that it could reduce the overall ilvl the weapon by the number of rerolls needed in order to increase it to the final level. This lowering effect is most effective for Diadems and rings that don't have other options for raising ilvls.
Some players have complained that the reroll system is too expensive. It would be fairer to allow players to pay for it with cash or food items, which would allow players to make changes to their builds without having to spend excessive amounts of time. The developers do not plan to offer paid rerolls in this point in the game's development. They are planning to add the ability for players to change their race in the future.
Leveling
There are several ways to upgrade an item. The first is to increase the amount of upgrade that increases the upgrade value of any stat. The second is to boost the effect of upgrading which increases the healing or damage of a specific stat. The base item can be upgraded to an advanced upgrade type. The upgraded item will maintain its iLevel but be upgraded to reflect the effects of the upgraded item.
It is crucial to remember that upgrades can be random. In most cases a better roll is based on the glyphs. However, there are times where a higher or more special roll could occur. In addition, the iLevel of the upgrade will be determined by the type of item which means that should you upgrade a rare or unusual item to a unique type, it could gain a higher iLevel.
Upgrading items can be costly especially when you're upgrading an item of equipment from the standard to legendary track. The price will be based on the item's base iLevel and the number of upgrade levels it has. In addition, some upgrade tracks require crests to get to the next upgrade level.
If you're lucky, your upgraded item will be at the highest level on its upgrade track and gain an additional benefit. This will result in a significant increase in the value of the item. The bonus effect is different with each upgrade level. In general, the upgrade effect is increased a value of +3.
Depending on the item's base level and its upgrade process, the iLevel for the upgraded item will change as well. For example, a weapon that is upgraded from a rare or unique item to an exceptional item will be able to gain the enhanced defense of the new base item type.
