World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is a vital aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enchantments of items.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. They can be acquired through the Blacksmith.
item upgrader can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapons
When a weapon is upgraded, it will gain an initial damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. upgrade item could also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that offer additional attributes or effects and some even have unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment have an available upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. If a weapon piece has an upgrade component in it, it can be upgraded with a different one however the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that improves certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be done four times based on the weapon's level.
Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be rebuilt using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. These upgrades can all be applied simultaneously and their effects will differ based on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the damage a weapon can cause.
Generally, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, because it helps maximise DPS. This is particularly relevant for enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of certain pieces of armor weapons, trinkets, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, for example, additional damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as quest rewards.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases an item of armor will be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. This is possible for most types of armor, however certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades provide a small increase to an item's base defense or strength. Certain upgrades, however, can result in significant increases in strength or defense. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.
Some upgrades provide special abilities which can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be very beneficial in combat. For instance they can increase attack speed or block. Certain upgrades can have effect that are passive and can be useful like reducing damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.
Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item could require multiple tries. For example the case of a player wanting to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59 and 67. The second attempt will result in a Dragonscale armor with the base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each of these locations holds a powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular opinion, armor in The Division 2 is not useless. The fact of the matter is that certain armors provide significant increases in poison or curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them very useful for specific builds. There are other ways to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.
Potion
By putting a potion in a stand for brewing, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another level of effects from the potion and can be re-used to increase the potency.
The potion also gains a custom color code, which the player can choose by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom potion color also applies to the potions' particle effects.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions, as well as difficult potions, now have a distinct the texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness are now available. The potions are lingering and can be prepared using dragon breath or splash potions and a strong potion with the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4 hours). Issues relating to this update are tracked on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket is a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. It can be a necklace or ring. Or even a small banner that marks the yard of a boat. This can also refers to a gilded trinket that is fixed to the mast of a vessel.
This bizarre trinket is believed to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more common. At its current level it makes all types of mimic Xx more common and gives each floor the chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket require a moderate amount energy.
The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to affect the dungeon and increase the likelihood of generating water and grass. At its current level this trinket will make X% of floors fill with water or grass, but it doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or items generated to solve hazard rooms.
Although it appears to be the normal eye of a newt this mystical item seems to be affecting your vision in ways beyond simply reducing your field of view. At its current level this trinket increases the overall health gained from drinking potions of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X%. It also grants the ability to see enemies within Y tiles. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters and chests and crates. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you have a trinket that requires upgrading, place it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will affect the trinket that is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reorge the Trinket for as many times as you want, though it will always have a different effect than the one you had when you forged it.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost 6 energy, but will increase the trinkets power by a small amount.
